    My local go to for Chinese takeout.

    I've tried lunch & dinner options. They have well-priced lunch specials costing $7.10. You get a main dish (5 options to choose from), plus fried rice and a tasty spring roll. I added on a hot and sour soup and that too was well seasoned and spicy in the right way.

    I often upgrade my combo's rice to their delicious noodles, and they're open to doing so as long as you pay $2. I think a lot of places won't allow you to change set combos, but I've never had an issue doing so. The portions are mighty plentiful, especially for the dinner deals. You also have the option of placing your order online and pre-paying with credit card.

    I've always been greeted there promptly; after going a handful of times, the owner remembers you and is super friendly. It's clearly a family run business.

    The location is a bit frustrating, as you have to do a u-turn if you are heading east. Otherwise, it's located in a small stripmall with a few parking spots in front.

    We ordered from our hotel. They wanted to "charge us a *Second delivery charge* on 1 egg roll"( because we asked for it in a separate bag.) He very nicely changed that, but then proceeded to "" Not Show Up with the order,"" and when We called back"" he said WE asked to many questions." (asked for separate plum sauce with egg roll), Strangest thing I've ever heard, but I know they didn't want to deliver so far for just 1 dinner, instead he blamed us, ""the customer". ""They Did Not Call to say they we're not coming!!""!!! The Hotel has Now Removed their Menu from it's selection. Very Bad Customer Relations!!

    This is my local Chinese take out joint, and I'm delighted to have this place in my neighbourhood.

    They're one of the few restaurants in Ottawa with open-end egg rolls, and I highly recommend you try them: the filling is delicious and meat-heavy (instead of cheap stringy subpar vegetable fillings  that most Canadian-Chinese places off) and the sauce is very nice and seems homemade.

    Another excellent dish is the crispy chicken with spicy pepper salt: large quantity of chicken breast that's breaded, deep fried and delightfully crispy, and generally spicy and delicious.

    The portions are immense, and the prices are quite reasonable. Overall, this is by far my favourite neighbourhood take out place in the city. I wouldn't travel across town for their food, but living in the area, it's one of the best options in terms of quality, quantity, and price, and I happily eat it weekly.

    The restaurant is exclusively take-out and has no tables. The staff is extremely friendly: I study Mandarin, and they're always delighted to see me and practice my Mandarin with me, offering tips and suggestions to improve.
